From mastery over previous concepts to identifying strengths, weaknesses, attendance, and more, our Learning Optimization AI compiles an array of vital statistics about each student’s journey to create comprehensive Heart of Code Academy Learner Profiles. This profile along with our students’ instructors and tutors create intricate personalized learning plans in a structured manner so that each student’s weaknesses, strengths and individual capabilities can be accounted for, down to personalized homework each week.
This unique approach ensures that our students not only learn and master new concepts with impressive efficacy and speed but also ensures that their improvement and learning can be followed by parents through regularly posted Learner Profile Snapshots to Heart of Code Academy Parent Accounts.
Bonding Activities

HOC Academy bonding activities for students are bimonthly extra curricular events for students to get to meet and laugh together outside of Computer Science. Emphasizing the significance of cooperation and teamwork, that many teamcompetitions are rooted in.
Projects and Portfolios
(Portfolios are Full Program Only)
Students will kickstart their Computer Science career by working on and creating their own personal Heart of Code Academy Coding Projects that push and test their abilities, allowing them to build a remarkable portfolio that will stand out in any field.
Competitions and Practice
(Competitions are Full Program Only)
Students get the opportunity to compete in and practice for both individual and collaborative competitions. In individual competitions, our students will get to hone and test their competitive level, while showcasing their ability internationally. During team competitions Heart of Code Academy classes will compete against other groups for opportunities and exposure to companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon while testing their ability and experience in-person and online.
Selections and Placements
At Heart of Code Academy we do our best to make sure students are in an immersive environment with peers that can help push and challenge them. During students’ first few classes with Heart of Code Academy, students are assessed to determine appropriate class and grade level placement so that their successes are collective experiences rather than solitary pursuits.
